Buying a machine
Why are there no prices on the listings?
Prices are quoted per listing, in USD or EUR, together with current availability. Message us with the listing number.
Can I inspect before buying?
Yes. Ask for a video inspection, a live demonstration of the machine running, or a site visit in Türkiye.
How does buying work?
Ask: pick a listing and ask for price, availability and technical details. Inspect: video inspection, a live demonstration of the machine running, or a visit in Türkiye. Agree: sales agreement; full payment or an agreed deposit by bank transfer before dismantling or shipping. Ship: optional dismantling, packing and freight; the buyer handles customs. Install: installation, adjustment and harness support if you want it.
What happens after I ask about a listing?
We confirm price and availability, then send them to you. We arrange a video, a live demonstration or a site visit. Then sales agreement, deposit, and the dismantling and shipping plan.
How do payment and shipping work?
Payment is by bank transfer. Full payment or an agreed deposit is made before any dismantling, packing or shipping starts. Delivery follows Incoterms 2020 (EXW, FOB, CIF…) as set in the sales agreement.
Who handles customs?
The buyer handles customs clearance, duties and taxes in the destination country.
Is there a warranty?
Industrial machinery is sold as final unless agreed otherwise in writing. A warranty applies only if it is stated in the sales agreement.
Are machines inspected before listing?
All machines are inspected and photographed before listing. Technical details (brand, model, year, condition, width, accessories) are verified to the best of our ability.
How are disputes handled?
Disputes are first addressed through direct negotiation. If unresolved, they are handled under Turkish Commercial Law unless otherwise agreed.
Choosing a machine
Which series: 32 or 22?
Van de Wiele built several families over the years, such as VMM, MPS, VTR and VSI, in jacquard and plain versions. Know exactly which one you are buying. The 32 and 22 series differ in capacity and technology, and that difference shows up in your output.
Looking for a specific model?
Browse the machines we have for sale, or tell us what you weave and the width you need. If we don’t have it in stock, we will let you know when a matching machine comes up.
Selling a machine
Is listing free, and how does commission work?
Listing is free. We work on a commission basis or buy directly for stock, whichever works best for both parties. The commission rate is agreed before listing; sales through LoomsForSale.com are subject to brokerage fees.
What is an exclusive listing?
For a faster sale, sellers may grant exclusive selling rights to LoomsForSale.com for an agreed period. Exclusive listings get priority promotion on our website, social media and partner networks.
Installation, harness and extension
Can you install the machine and build the harness?
Yes. Our technicians install and adjust the machine, and Güryay builds and fits the jacquard harness.
How does a harness job run?
Güryay builds and fits jacquard harnesses through its Harness Masters team. A job runs in four steps. Survey: we see the loom, the jacquard and the fabric on site, no charge. Plan: hook count, comber board layout, heddle length and spring tension are set for the job. Preparation: heddles, springs, pulleys and cord are made up into a set in the workshop. Fitting: the team fits the harness on your loom and adjusts it.
What is loom extension?
Most Van de Wiele looms leave the factory at 175 cm. We rework them to weave wider fabric: the working widths we build are 200, 210, 240, 260 and 300 cm. We can also increase the shed opening, which raises colour capacity and fabric density, so larger carpet and rug sizes run on the same loom without buying a new machine.
